FAQ

  • Can I transfer my entry or get a refund?
    • Race entries are non-refundable, non-transferable and no credits will be issued. You can drop in distance by contacting us before May 1st. There will be no refund issued when dropping in distance.
  • Can I camp in the park where the start/finish is?
    • No, but you have Roberts Creek Provincial Campground close by - it’s first come. 
    • Other options:
      • Up the Creek Backpackers (Roberts Creek)
      • Gibsons Garden Hotel (Gibsons)
      • You will also find several Airbnb's in the area
  • When is package pick up?
    • Thursday June 6th at Kintec in North Vancouver
    • Friday June 7th at PaceSetter Athletics in Gibsons
    • Saturday June 9th at the start line in Cliff Gilker Park
      • 50k: 7-7.30am
      • 25k: 8-8.30am 
    • If you pick up your race package before race day, please be sure to check in on race day at the check-in desk
  • Can I have a drop bag?
    • Yes, aid station 2 will have drop bags (for the 50k only). Please leave them at registration/check-in with your name and bib #
  • Where can I find the course map and elevation?

    • To see the elevation chart, click elevation at the bottom of the map
    • Distance between aid stations:
      • 50k:
        • Aid station 1 you will hit 3 times at 11km, 23.8km and 29.3km
        • Aid station 2 is at 32.5km
        • Aid station 3 is at 40km
      • 25k:
        • Aid station 1 you will hit twice at 11km and 16.5km
        • Aid station 2 is at 20km
  • Cut Offs:
    • Cut off is at aid station 3 at 5pm!
  • Can spectators see me out on the course?
    • Only aid station 1 at Hwy 102/High Rd is accessible for spectators. SUV/truck needed to get there. Please respect the aid station team and runners and stay out of their way by staying behind the marked area (the aid station is further down the road). It’s 7km up the logging road (Largo Rd.) At 2.5km keep right and at the next fork turn right and continue until you get to the aid station
  • Is there parking at the park?
    • There will be no parking in Cliff Gilker Park - we will provide a shuttle from Roberts Creek Community Elementary School to the start line and another  from Largo Rd (the logging road next to the park). Park on the right side and at the parking spots by the trail kiosk
    • NO PARKING ON THE HIGHWAY!
  • Is there a medal?
    • We will be giving out limited editions of Puddle Jumper Classic coins to everyone who finishes.
  • Will the finish line party be open to the public and spectators?
    • Yes - min. age 19 for the beer garden​
    • Beer, cider and soft drinks available for purchase
